Error in Text

JAMA Ophthalmol. Published online June 8, 2017. doi:10.1001/jamaophthalmol.2017.1891

In the Clinical Challenge titled “Recent Onset of Bilateral Ptosis,” published in the April 2017 issue of JAMA Ophthalmology,1 there was an error in the first sentence of the “Patient Outcome” paragraph. It erroneously read “The patient underwent a bilateral Müllerectomy surgery, and at 1-year follow-up, he continued to do well with significant improvement in his visual field.” The patient instead underwent a frontalis sling procedure, not a müllerectomy. Therefore, the sentence should read: “The patient underwent a bilateral frontalis sling procedure, and at 1-year follow-up, he continued to do well with significant improvement in his visual field.”
