Ocular Pathologic Changes in Primary Hemochromatosis

Abstract

The ocular pathologic changes in three cases of primary hemochromatosis were studied. Significant iron was found only in the ciliary epithelium and sclera. No diabetic oculopathy was present. These findings are contrasted with those reported in local ocular siderosis.
