Abstract

• A foot pedal-controlled, electrical equilibrating constant-pressure pneumatic anterior chamber maintaining device has been useful in maintaining the anterior chamber with air without overpressuring the eye and prolapsing ocular tissues. It maintains the anterior chamber at an air pressure level preset by the surgeon.
