—The Executive Committee of the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Inc elected new officers for 1992 at its Annual Meeting in Anaheim, Calif, on Friday, October 11, 1991. The new officers are: John A. Burns, MD, president; Albert Hornblass, MD, president-elect; George L. Paris, MD, vice president; Michael A. Callahan, MD, executive secretary; Gerald J. Harris, MD, treasurer; John A. Harrington, MD, secretary; Perry F. Garber, MD, secretary of education; John W. Shore, MD, program chairman; and Arthur S. Grove, Jr, MD, chairman of advisory board.
Lions Mission to Guatemala Delivers Supplies and Eyeglasses.
—Forty Lions Club International volunteers from Indiana, Wisconsin, and Texas recently returned from Guatemala where they delivered food, clothing, medical supplies, and 10 000 pairs of eyeglasses. The volunteers were joined by three eye specialists from the United States who diagnosed vision disorders and conducted minor surgeries. The 1991 Lions Mission
