Ameloblastoma is the most common neoplasm of odontogenic epithelium.1These tumors are benign, locally aggressive, and slow growing. More than 80% of ameloblastomas are located in the mandible, with the remainder occurring in the maxilla. About 17% of the cases are associated with the presence of impacted teeth. The peak incidence of ameloblastoma is between the second and fourth decades of life.2
