I agree with Dr Koch's hypothesis that the endoscopic browlift is preferable to a traditional approach for most patients. I would further qualify this statement as being true only for patients undergoing cosmetic surgery. Most patients in my practice whom I consider candidates for endoscopic browlift procedures are those seeking rejuvenative treatment of the upper third of the face. I have not found the technique applicable to reconstructive problems such as paralysis or severe asymmetries.
