Computed Tomography of Rhinosinusitis in Immunodeficient Patients: Not Only Fungal Sinusitis

DelGaudio et al1 highlighted invasive fungal sinusitis, a highly fatal disease when diagnosis or treatment is delayed. Immunodeficient patients have a propensity for the disease. Their article identified several computed tomographic (CT) signs that were suggestive of, but not exclusive to, invasive fungal sinusitis that could help in starting appropriate treatment.
