Pair of red and green macaws

Arch Otolaryngol Head Neck Surg. 2012;138(9):799. doi:10.1001/archoto.2012.1143

Photographer: Larry A. Bryant, Chicago, Illinois. “These red and green macaws are natives of South America but were photographed at Butterfly World nature park in Coconut Grove, Florida. The macaw is a species of the parrot family and is considered very intelligent—and obviously very colorful. Butterfly World is also home to dozens of species of butterflies and even has an aviary that houses small birds, including hummingbirds.”
