This book contains a concise summary of the usual pediatric conditions. The sections on the heart and the respiratory diseases are the best; in fact, they are exceptionally good. Infant feeding is briefly discussed and is somewhat neglected. For physical diagnosis, the book is excellent for the student. The therapeutics given are not the procedures usually carried out in this country. The book is excellently bound and printed, and is of a convenient size for the pocket. It should be of value to the student as a short account of the diseases of childhood.
