In this book on roentgen diagnosis and therapy in infants and children the authors have chosen collaborators to write some of the chapters on special subjects. The book is divided into two parts: roentgen diagnosis and roentgen therapy.
The introduction to the part on roentgen diagnosis consists of a complete discussion of the physics of roentgen rays and the methods used in their technical application to children. The chapters dealing with the diseases of the bony skeleton and the thorax are preceded by excellent discussions on the bony skeleton, including the age of appearance of the ossification centers, the growth of normal bones and the development of the chest, with a complete discussion of the anatomy of the lymphatics.
