UNIVERSITY NEWS  Dr. Grover F. Powers, professor of pediatrics, Yale University School of Medicine, was given the honorary degree of Doctor of Science by Purdue University in June.

SOCIETY NEWS  Seventh Pan-American Congress on the Baby.—The Seventh Pan-American Congress on the Baby will be held on October 12 to 19 in Mexico City.
