This book is intended as a review of recent work on brewers' yeast (and the chemistry of this substance) as a therapeutic agent, as a source of vitamins and as a feed in animal husbandry. The book is primarily intended for the technologist and research worker in the brewers' yeast industry and contains little of interest to the physician. The aim and intent of the work are well accomplished, and, while the book is small, more than four hundred references to the recent literature on the subject are cited.
