This book is a delightful text that covers anatomy, pathology and treatment of the nervous disorders. It is a translation and consequently has a strong European flavor, but the translator, Dr. Haymaker, was granted the privilege by Dr. Bing of revising and rearranging portions of it; so the book is also consistent with the American viewpoint. It is truly international.
The last chapters on psychoneurosis (although they may not be accepted wholeheartedly by psychiatrists) reflect a remarkably sane middle point of view that should delight most pediatricians.
