This book is divided into three portions. The first part deals with the determination of blood coagulability and the use of the photelegraph, which represents graphically the entire process of coagulation. Part two is concerned with the physiology of blood coagulation and part three with hemorrhagic diseases, of which hemophilia, thrombocytopenic purpura, diseases of the liver and gallbladder and hemorrhagic disease of the newborn are considered in detail. The chapters on vitamin K and hemorrhage due to disorders of the liver and gallbladder contain some interesting information based on the author's research.
