This volume brings the knowledge of encephalitis up to date. Written by Dr. Neal and her collaborators, all of whom have been studying the various aspects of the disease for a great many years, the clinical and pathologic pictures are vividly described in styles that are easily understood.
After a general description of the clinical manifestations of the various forms of the illness, succeeding chapters describe the epidemiology, clinical course, neurologic complications, sequelae, pathology and treatment. Every aspect of every form of the disease is described.
