This book is an excellent and rather complete account of the chemistry of the war gases. There is only a brief and incomplete chapter on the pathologic effects of these gases and practically nothing on treatment of gas casualties. On the other hand, the subjects of recognition of gases and decontamination are thoroughly discussed.
This is a good book for the army gas officer and for the chemist, but is of only limited value to the clinician.
