Abstract

This monograph, a supplement to Annales pædiatrici, briefly reviews the effects of various maternal infections on the fetus, with particular attention to toxoplasmosis and rubella. The author adds several cases of his own, but no new information concerning the two infections mentioned. The bibliography, like the review, includes most of the important references but is far from comprehensive and omits certain reports in the American literature which have an important bearing on this subject.
