This book is concerned apparently with all phases of cultivation and handling of bananas, though the author states that it is intended for those engaged in fundamental researches. Emphasis is placed on the biochemistry of the fruit and its products. The book appears to be of greatest use to the agriculturist. It is of no medical interest.
