This color atlas of pediatric surgery is a wonderful collection of photographs, diagrams, and descriptive text. Many surgical conditions that occur in children are vividly depicted by first-class photography. The author is to be commended for his photographic skills.
The text is easy to read. It provides only general information on the conditions described, leaving it to the reader to seek in-depth information in standard pediatric surgery texts. A list of suggested references would have been helpful.
