Miscalculation and Errors in Numbers Reported in Table

To the Editor We write to report errors that occurred in our article, “Respiratory Infections in Early Life and the Development of Islet Autoimmunity in Children at Increased Type 1 Diabetes Risk: Evidence From the BABYDIET Study,” that was published in JAMA Pediatrics (2013;167[9]:800-807).1 We noticed the errors when we were asked by colleagues to provide more details on infection frequencies by seasonality of infections. For this purpose, we had to redo some of the calculations and realized that we were not able to reproduce some of the data from Table 1.
