In Reply Parra et al request additional information to better interpret the results of our study. To clarify, the purpose of our analysis was to evaluate the relationship between time of day (night vs day/evening) and day of week (weekend vs weekday) with survival after adjusting for important confounders. As such, we did not provide the detailed coefficients from the final model, which might have been important if the purpose of the research were to develop a predictive model. Table 1 provides the distribution of several potential confounders by the time of day and day of week. Adjusted and unadjusted survival rates are provided in Tables 2 and 3 as well as Figures 1 and 2.1
