This manual is intended for the use of persons trained in the field of speech pathology. As such, it gives a tremendous amount of information relative to the scope of the professional area of speech disorders. The authors have attempted to provide material which is noncontroversial insofar as this can be done when some of these disorders are still not clearly understood. It forms a much-needed amassment of materials which the trained person may use as much or as little as he likes. In any event, it is an excellent guide to the proper examination of speech disorders.
