Volume 6 of the popular "Advances In Pediatrics" presents as usual various monographs of contemporary interest to pediatricians. The authors are authorities in their fields, and the present volume is comprised of seven monographs of timely interest.
Topics included are "Lymphosarcoma in Childhood," by Harold Dargeon, "Preventive Prenatal Pediatrics," by Theodore Ingalls, "Intestinal Obstructions in the Neonatal Period," by C. Evrett Koop, "Hemolytic Disease of the Newborn," by Philip Levine and co-workers, "Pulmonary Pathology in the Newborn," by Edith Potter, "The Lypoidoses," by Van Seveld, and "Megaloblastic Anaemia of Infancy," by Zuelzer.
All of these monographs are very well written, comprehensive, and thoroughly up to date. Each in its field offers everything a pediatrician could desire in the way of information. The book is heartily recommended to all pediatricians. It should be read by all and will profit those who do read it.
