The first part of the book is devoted to a discussion of antigens, antibodies, antigen-antibody interactions, cellular immunity, the factors affecting immune responses, and the biochemical consequences of antigen-antibody interaction. The second part deals with responses of antibody-forming cells and cells involved in delayed immune responses, as well as with dysgammaglobulinemias and hypersensitivity to infectious agents. The third part of the book deals with atopy and related disorders and includes a discussion of the immunology of atopic diseases, diagnostic procedures, and therapeutic measures.
