Dr. Bray has drawn upon his experience as a pediatrician and neurologist as well as the literature to prepare a concise and practical yet readable and informative textbook of pediatric neurology. The book covers the subject in broad scope, but not necessarily in depth. However, references are available at the end of each chapter for the reader who desires to pursue subjects further. The organization of the book is superb and the author has used outlines, tables, and illustrations to excellent advantage.
The book is divided into two major portions which complement each other. The first deals primarily with neurologic symptoms and syndromes as they may present in the office, clinic, or hospital. He discusses these in terms of clinical findings and appropriate use of neurodiagnostic aids in a very lucid and enlightening manner.
