Abstract

An 8-month-old female infant with an acute myoclonic encephalopathy associated with neuroblastoma presented whose initial investigations failed to uncover any trace of underlying tumor. Following resection of an intrathoracic neuroblastoma, all myoclonic activity subsided and subsequent motor and mental development have progressed at an approximately normal rate.
