For the beginning student and the general pediatrician, the complexity of a discipline such as pediatric cardiology may seem bewildering. Most available textbooks, in addition to their high cost, fail to present the simple basics, but plunge ahead into the details of the many types of congenital heart lesions encountered in infants and children. The present volume by Dr. Moller of the University of Minnesota offers an alternative to the student in a short, compact, low-priced paperback.
