Abstract

Sir.—Drs Wilson and Burr in their article entitled "Benzalkonium Chloride Poisoning in Infant Twins," published in the October issue of the Journal (129:1208, 1975), stated that "the manufacturer of Wet Ones (Lehn & Fink Industrial Products) did not list benzalkonium chloride among the ingredients. A 1:750 concentration of this detergent may be quite irritating or caustic if ingested by young children." To set the record straight, I would like to point out that Wet Ones do not contain benzalkonium chloride.
