Abstract

• Two infants originally thought to have gastroesophageal reflux (GER) were later found to have cystic fibrosis (CF). These two common syndromes are similar and can coexist. We recommend that a sweat test be performed on all infants with possible GER, and GER be considered in infants with CF.
