Abstract

Incorrect Phrasing.—In the article entitled "Familial Glucocorticoid Deficiency in a Girl With Hypophosphatemic Rickets," published in the August 1988 issue of AJDC (1988;142:900-903), errors occurred in the text. On page 901, at the end of the third sentence, the parenthetical statement "(all values 2.8 μmol/d)" should have read "(all values <2.8 μmol/d)." In the "Comment" section, the fourth sentence should have read as follows: "Patients with FGD often have tall stature,6-8 and it has been speculated that their relative lack of cortisol may play a role because the effects of growth hormone and other anabolic compounds are unopposed.6"
