Let's face it. Isn't part of the reason we became pediatricians because we love inhabiting the world of children? Because kids are our job, we feel a responsibility to keep up with all things juvenile. We have to watch SpongeBob SquarePants to relate to our young patients, right? Or is relating to our patients just our excuse for playing with our Bratz dolls with their “passion for fashion”? Our spouses keep telling us to step away from the Wii, but we insist it's just research.
