Grant et al1 studied the effect of cognitive therapy (CT) in low-functioning patients with schizophrenia. It is an important area of research with important clinical implications because there is limited evidence of response of negative symptoms to various treatments.2,3 We have, however, several questions and concerns regarding methods, analysis, and outcomes.
