Misstatement.—  In the letter titled "Validation of the Definitions of Endogenous Depression," published in the April ARCHIVES (1987;44:390), a sentence contained a misstatement. On page 390, the sentence beginning on the fifth line of the second column should have read as follows: "Only one biologic measure was included, the dexamethasone suppression test (DST), which, interestingly, related significantly to only two of the four definitions."
