Thank you for your comments to our recently published article. The purpose of our study was to perform a systematic review of the current literature on RFA. We had strict criteria as to which studies could be included. We agree that there is evidence that combining hepatic blood flow interruption with RFA has been shown to reduce the rate of tumor recurrence and increase the size of the lesion that is able to be ablated, and the long-term result appears better than with radiofrequency alone. At the time of preparation of our review, there was no such study available that fit our inclusion criteria.
