Abstract

This is an encyclopedic work on the pathological anatomy of the esophagus and the stomach. The length of some of the chapters indicates the size of this undertaking! One hundred thirty pages are concerned with gastric and duodenal ulcers and about 120 pages with gastric carcinoma. The discussion is thorough, with great emphasis on recent world literature.
