The indicated purpose of this volume was to centralize and summarize knowledge as it relates to anesthetic management of uncommon disorders. In the broadest sense, the editors have been successful in this regard. The scope of the text is quite wide, with chapter titles spanning most major fields of pathophysiology with the exception of urological, obstetrical and gynecological, and ear, nose, and throat disease.
