I read with great interest the article by Korenstein et al1 published in the June 2010 issue of the Archives. I was particularly struck by the discussion of pediatricians, a subset of physicians heretofore largely ignored in analyses of physician attitudes toward industry. Korenstein et al note that, based on their data, pediatricians hold less favorable attitudes toward industry when compared with the sample of all surveyed physicians. However, pediatricians are not above reproach on this issue.
