Repair of case 1. The pulsatile flow above, below, and directly over the pseudoaneurysm is demonstrated. Incisions were placed over the feeding vessels, and pulsation within the pseudoaneurysm ceased on successful suture ligation of the feeding vessels and the neck of the pseudoaneurysm. Note the presence of the organized hematoma that required evacuation after pulsatility ceased. The resulting defect was repaired with standard layer closure, and Doppler ultrasonography demonstrated no further blood flow at the site of repair.
