Special Article: A REVIEW OF RECENT LITERATURE ON NEUROSYPHILIS

Arch NeurPsych. 1922;7(2):235-248. doi:10.1001/archneurpsyc.1922.02190080084009
Abstract

The news of another edition of Nonne's "Syphilis und Nervensystem" will be received by those interested in the subject of neurosyphilis with mingled sensations of delight and tribulation. Having been for so long a classical reference book on neurosyphilis, it is necessary only to call attention to the new edition.

A new book on the subject of neurosyphilis by Wilhelm Gennerich1 is a notable recent contribution to the study of neurosyphilis. A review of this book appeared in the October number of the Archives, and I will only say that I consider this the most important work on the treatment of neurosyphilis that has been published to date. It merits conscientious study by all who treat or outline treatment for patients with syphilis of the central nervous system.

STRAINS OF SPIROCHETES WITH PREDILECTION FOR THE NERVOUS SYSTEM  Probably, one of the most important subjects in the consideration of neurosyphilis
