This monograph consists of four parts. The first part deals with the relationship of the nervous system to spontaneous bleedings; the second with spontaneous ecchymoses in organic diseases of the nervous system, the third with spontaneous ecchymoses in the psychoneuroses, and the fourth with the nervous system and the hemorrhagic diatheses. The contribution contains nothing original, but is an excellent review of the present knowledge of the subject and with its 113 references to the literature, it may be read with profit by any one interested.
