In this volume the author has compiled a series of excerpts from the classics of pathology taken from Hippocrates to Virchow, that is, during the known history of medicine. It is interesting and fascinating reading and the entire profession is indebted to the author for the consummation of this enterprise and for the excellent selection that he has made. The book itself is well prepared with readable type and the illustrations are excellent.
