The second edition of this interesting book contains no additional material. The inception of the book was the desire to put on record eight lectures on medical history given by the author before the students of the (St. Louis) Washington University School of Medicine. It originally appeared in 1924.
The book is exceedingly well written, is of great interest and should be in the hands of every physician. The illustrations are excellent.
