To the Editor: Dr Celentano et
al1 reported that current IDUs and those recently
incarcerated were less likely to receive protease inhibitors (PIs), but
patients with acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) were more
likely to receive PIs. We conducted a study to determine
characteristics associated with failure to receive PIs and found
