Pandemic Flu Lessons

The 2009 influenza A(H1N1) pandemic has provided an opportunity to assess the United States' efforts to mitigate the health consequences of this flu outbreak, said the Government Accountability Office (GAO) in a report released June 27 (http://tinyurl.com/3bu7fmp).

The GAO said that perhaps 89 million pandemic flu cases occurred in the United States.
