To the Editor:
—There is being circulated a photostat letter written by Dr. A. P. Andrus of my clinic to the Adenemin Company of Chattanooga, Tenn., extolling the virtues of Adenemin, a remedy of which I personally know nothing.Dr. Andrus, the author of the letter, is dead and when he wrote it could not have thought of the embarrassment it might cause me.I wish to disclaim any knowledge of this letter until a copy of it reached me through the mail. Had I been consulted about it I would not have approved the sending of such a letter from our clinic.I wish the profession to know that this letter was written without my knowledge or consent and has only brought me embarrassment and chagrin.
