In the query and minor note entitled "Calcium in Child's Diet," in The Journal, September 21, page 987, the answer to the first question should have been "A liter of human milk contains about 0.35 Gm. of calcium," instead of about 1.24 Gm., as was stated. In the answer to question 3, the ratio of calcium to phosphorus should have been given as about 1.3:1 in cow's milk, and 2.3: 1 in breast milk.
