The report of the death of Dr. William Preston Haynes of Washington, D. C., received in this office from the Commission on Licensure of the District of Columbia, and published in the obituary columns of The Journal, September 12, page 893, was erroneous. Dr. Haynes writes that he is alive and was never in better health.
