This is an excellent volume on the subject of sulfanilamide and its related compounds. The authors are especially qualified to deal with this particular subject, and the facts they have gathered together in this volume are extremely useful to any one who is engaged in the clinical or experimental use of sulfanilamide. It has proved to be an excellent reference book, containing citations of practically all aspects of sulfanilamide and sulfapyridine therapy. There is full discussion of the clinical results as well as the various toxic manifestations from the use of these preparations. The mode of action of the drug is discussed in full, and the use of sulfanilamide in all the conditions for which it had been employed at the time the book was published is adequately detailed.
