COMMITTEE DELAYS REPORT ON HOSPITAL CONSTRUCTION BILL  The Senate Committee on Education and Labor, April 23, unanimously approved a revised Wagner-George hospital construction bill. It was expected that thereafter the bill would immediately be reported to the Senate but there has resulted a delay. It is said that the committee will propose in the revised bill a six year program for the construction and maintenance of hospital facilities and will authorize annual appropriations of $10,000,000 for construction and maintenance and $500,000 for administrative expenses for each of the six fiscal years.
