Abstract

This symposium covers such topics as radiation effects, weightlessness, and means for detecting life on other planets. John Glenn and Gherman Titov both have articles, and one Soviet scientist makes a good case for sterilizing space vehicles to avoid extraterrestial contamination. Soviet articles are in English, with Russian abstracts.
